At Yomps we have a great respect for the environment. We work closely with local groups and organisations to generate awareness of the importance of protecting the wilderness environment. Whilst undertaking any activity we endeavour to observe our environmental philosophy to respect and protect the natural environment.

Yomps endeavours to promote awareness of the fragility of the local environment, indigenous vegetation and wildlife, and ways to assist in their protection.

Protecting the environment in the places we visit during our experiences is of major importance to us. We endeavour to minimise the impact each activity has, both environmentally and culturally through our commitment to conservation, education and support. We use local transport and accommodation where possible and encourage the participants to buy local produce at all opportunities. We are mindful of waste disposal, and comply with travel guidelines, and respect local cultures and traditions.

We send the majority of our paperwork via email. It’s good for the environment and keeps our costs down.
